360 nm Widely Tunable Filter Now Available
|
Atlanta, GA, March 1, 2005 - Micron Optics, Inc. now offers a Fabry-Perot widely tunable filter called the FFP-TF2 9000. This latest filter, incorporating the new TF2 design package, can tune across the entire telecom spectrum (1260-1620 nm) and at end-to-end speeds of up to 2 KHz. While these wide tuning ranges have been successfully implemented before by Micron Optics, none have been done with only one period of frequency comb. Optical system designers are now free to design-in just one tunable filter for applications that used to require multiple filters or involve complicated multi-band calibration algorithms. For best pricing and delivery, two stock filters are also available for either a CWDM or OSA application. Company Description:Micron Optics, a leading provider of tunable technologies, offers a comprehensive portfolio of products for sensing and telecom markets. Leading the industry for nearly a decade, the Optical Sensing line addresses energy, aerospace, civil, transportation and defense applications. A Telecom line of tunable components, OEM modules and test instruments provides superior solutions for signal conditioning, channel drop, and spectrum measurements. |
