
UPCOMING EVENTSDr Alexis Mendez, Director of Applications Engineering of Micron Optics has been selected as a Keynote Speaker for APOS 2010. He will be presenting "Status and Future of Fiber Optic Sensors: an Industry's Perspective." This talk will provide an overview on fiber sensing technology’s milestones and its associated commercial status, as well as its future prospects and market outlook.
Micron Optics’ and other advanced optical sensing products will be exhibited at the conference by MOI AG. Technical members of the MOIAG-Beijing Support Office will be available on-site to demonstrate the latest Optical Sensing Technologies and to answer any questions.
The 2nd Asia-Pacific Optical Sensors Conference 2010 (APOS2010) will be held in Guangzhou, China, from 28 to 30 June 2010. The Conference is jointly organized by Jinan University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China. It is co-sponsored by National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Chinese Optics Society (COS), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE). The conference intends to provide an important forum for reporting the latest progress in optical and photonic sensing technologies, and a premier opportunity for scientists, professionals and industrial communities to share and exchange their ideas and R&D experiences.
